ServiceScout plugs into ServiceTitan natively. Every booked appointment surfaces in Mobile 2.0 with a Pre-Call Brief and 90-second Scout Audio. Two-way sync. Zero new workflow.
ServiceTitan and ServiceScout are not competitive — they solve different problems for the same operator. ServiceTitan dispatches the tech to the right house at the right time with the right job ticket. ServiceScout makes sure the tech walks into that house already understanding the customer.
If ServiceTitan's Mobile 2.0 tells your tech what's been done for this customer before, ServiceScout tells your tech who they're about to meet. The two layers stack — they don't overlap.
No code on your end. No engineering team needed. Your ServiceTitan admin authorizes ServiceScout once via OAuth. Everything else happens server-to-server.
Your ServiceTitan admin clicks one link, signs in with their existing ServiceTitan credentials, and authorizes ServiceScout to read appointment data and write brief links to job records. Standard OAuth 2.0 flow. Revocable any time from ServiceTitan's Integrations panel.
ServiceScout registers a webhook against ServiceTitan's V2 API for job.created and job.updated events. ServiceTitan pushes new appointments to us instantly. No polling. No rate-limit pressure on your tenant.
For every booked appointment, ServiceScout assembles the brief in roughly 10 seconds using licensed property data, public records, and the seven indicator sources. The completed brief is written back to ServiceTitan as a note + URL on the job record, so it appears natively in Mobile 2.0.
Your tech sees a "Pre-Call Brief" chip on the job card in Mobile 2.0. They can also receive the brief via email or SMS depending on your ServiceScout delivery preferences. The 90-second Scout Audio is one tap from the brief link.
Most ServiceTitan customers are receiving Pre-Call Briefs on real appointments within 5 business days. Here's the full rollout timeline.
30-minute kickoff with your ServiceScout onboarding lead. We confirm your ServiceTitan tenant, sub-account structure (if any), and persona preferences by trade. Your admin authorizes the integration.
ServiceScout generates briefs on 5-10 recent appointments from your dispatch so you can see the output format, validate the data quality for your service area, and tune Persona Headlines to your trade language.
The V2 webhook goes live. Every new appointment booked in ServiceTitan from this point forward generates a brief automatically. Your office team sees the brief link appear on job records.
The "Pre-Call Brief" chip activates in Mobile 2.0. We run a 20-minute walkthrough with your dispatch and your senior techs. Most teams are using briefs the same afternoon.
Briefs go to all techs. We monitor brief quality and approach feedback for the first two weeks and adjust Persona Headlines or recommended-approach phrasing based on what your team finds useful.
No. ServiceScout sits beside ServiceTitan and adds Pre-Appointment Intelligence on top of your existing dispatch and CRM. Nothing about ServiceTitan changes — your jobs, schedule, invoicing, customer history, and pricing all stay where they are.
ServiceScout reads the appointment data via the V2 API, builds the brief, and writes the result back to Mobile 2.0. You keep using ServiceTitan exactly as you do today. The brief just appears alongside what's already there.
Most teams are live in 5 business days. Day 1 is OAuth + discovery, Day 2 is pilot briefs, Day 3 the webhook activates, Day 4 your techs start receiving briefs in Mobile 2.0, Day 5 is full team rollout. No engineering involvement required from your end.
The single biggest delay we see is admin scheduling — when the person with ServiceTitan admin permissions to authorize the OAuth flow is hard to get on a call. Once that's done, the rest moves fast.
Three places, depending on who's looking:
Office view: A "Pre-Call Brief" link appears in the job notes section of every appointment. Dispatchers and office staff can click through to see the full brief before assigning the call.
Mobile 2.0: Your techs see a "Pre-Call Brief" chip on the job card. One tap opens the full brief; another tap plays the 90-second Scout Audio.
Email/SMS: Optional. Some operators prefer the brief delivered to the tech's phone the morning of the appointment instead of (or in addition to) the Mobile 2.0 chip. Configurable per-tech.
No. The integration is webhook-based, not polling-based — we don't hammer the V2 API. ServiceTitan pushes events to us when something happens, we process the event entirely on our infrastructure, and we write back a single note + URL to the job record.
Brief generation takes about 10 seconds and happens on ServiceScout's servers, not yours. The only ServiceTitan-side resource we use is the standard V2 API rate limit, well under your tenant's allocation.
Any plan that supports V2 API access works. That covers Core, Pro, Enterprise, and Marketing Pro — basically every current ServiceTitan plan tier.
If you're on a legacy ServiceTitan plan without V2 access, get in touch. We have alternative integration paths via Zapier (good for low-volume teams) and direct CSV-based dispatch sync (good for offices that prefer manual control). Both produce the same brief output, just with a different delivery method.
Book a 30-minute demo. We'll pick a recent appointment from your ServiceTitan dispatch, build the Pre-Call Brief and Scout Audio live, and show you exactly where it surfaces in Mobile 2.0. 30-day free trial, no credit card required.
